Oleksandr Kozin was head of the condensate stabilisation process shop. He was one of those who are always among the first to help. He had repeatedly taken part in dealing with the aftermath of attacks: putting out fires, shutting off pipelines, and restoring equipment to working order alongside his team. For his courage in responding to previous strikes, he was awarded the Order of Merit, 3rd Class, by the President of Ukraine. He is survived by a young son.
Yuriy Musienko worked as a process pump operator. His job was to ensure the stability of processes that could not be halted, even in the most difficult moments.
Mykhailo Dub was a shift engineer in the gas condensate and oil processing department. Safe and uninterrupted operations depended on his decisions.
I offer my sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of those who have died. This is a heavy loss for the entire Naftogaz Group. We remember each and every one of them,” said Chief Executive Officer of Naftogaz Sergii Koretskyi.
A further twelve Group employees were wounded, including the manager of the facility that came under fire, who had also arrived to deal with the aftermath of the bombardment. All those affected are currently receiving the necessary medical care.
Two State Emergency Service rescuers were also killed whilst dealing with the aftermath of the attack, and a significant number of firefighters were wounded. We are grateful to everyone standing shoulder to shoulder with our gas workers to work at attack sites.
Today, we mourn together for all those we have lost.
Since the start of 2026, Naftogaz Group facilities have come under 107 attacks involving 245 drones, missiles, and artillery. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, 323 Naftogaz Group employees have been killed by Russia.
We remember each and every one of them.
